Maarjamäe Palace Park
Maarjamäe Palace Park is a gated area perfectly suited for various outdoor events. The park can host summer gatherings, concerts, company parties and receptions. It can accommodate up to 4,500 guests. It is also possible to set up marquees and a stage in the area.
If you are interested in using Maarjamäe Palace Park for an event, please make sure to contact the museum at least 5 working days prior to the event date by sending an e-mail to tellimus@ajaloomuuseum.ee. The museum has the right to charge a rental fee for the use of the outdoor area.
Maarjamäe Palace Park surrounds the palace and was once the parkland of the 19th-century summer residence of the family of the Russian Count Orlov-Davydov.
In addition to the palace, the park is home to the Film Museum, established in 2006, and stables, a playground in the shape of Estonia for the museum’s younger visitors, an outdoor exhibition of Soviet-era monuments and, lining the park’s “red carpet”, Estonian film-themed sculptures by the young sculptor Jass Kaselaan. With a wonderful sea view and a charming picnic area, the park is a great place to spend time with friends or family.
